About Colleen

Two of my greatest loves are writing and helping others achieve their personal and professional goals. While these passions have their origins all the way back to elementary school, it was a graduate school internship with Rutgers University Career Services that introduced me to résumé writing and career counseling—and I was immediately hooked on the profession! I received my Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in Psychology from Rutgers University. I am a Certified Professional Career Coach, NJ Licensed Professional Counselor, and a member of the Professional Association of Résumé Writers & Career Coaches (PARW/CC) and Career Directors International (CDI). Over the last ten+ years, I have written hundreds of résumés and helped countless individuals achieve the careers of their dreams. In addition to founding Colleen’s Career Creations, I direct two University TRIO programs for low-income, first-generation college students and teach Introductory Psychology at my local community college.
